What are credits?
Credits are Narreel units used for paid operations such as video generation, images, clips, thumbnails, Prompt Lab tests, voice workflows, and AI audio. Narreel checks credits before expensive jobs begin.
Do extra credits expire?
Purchased extra credits are kept separately from subscription credits and do not have a scheduled expiry. Account and usage terms still apply. Monthly subscriptions grant credits each paid monthly cycle; yearly subscriptions grant the annual allowance for the paid year.
Can I create both vertical and horizontal videos?
Yes. Narreel supports vertical short-form formats and horizontal long-form workflows, with publishing metadata and thumbnail logic that adapts to the selected format.
Can I edit a generated video?
Yes. Narreel is built around scene-level editing, so you can adjust visuals, voice, audio, subtitles, and thumbnails after generation while the project remains editable.
Can I use my own product images, logo, or person reference?
Yes. Uploaded assets can guide product, brand, person, watermark, character, and knowledge references. Narreel keeps final logo/watermark handling separate where exact compositing is safer than model redraw.
Is Narreel Director included now?
Director supports source analysis, a story bible, recurring characters, scene planning, storyboard approval, AI-assisted scene edits and clip rendering. Starter has preview access; Creator has limited production access; Studio has higher limits. Rendering uses credits and compatible providers. Review and refinement remain part of the process.
Can Director read any book, manga or scanned PDF?
Not yet. Director adapts supported text, scripts, accessible links and extractable document text within size limits. Review extracted text before planning. Scanned pages and manga panels are not automatically understood by OCR; provide a transcript or scene notes. Page-controlled book and manga ingestion is planned, not included today.
Will every provider produce exact dialogue and seamless continuity?
No universal guarantee applies. Providers have different clip lengths, audio capabilities and dialogue controls. Director checks compatibility and uses character references and scene context, but you should review each storyboard and clip before approving the sequence.
How many videos will my credits produce?
There is no fixed conversion from credits to videos. Length, media choices, provider, narration and revisions affect the estimate. Use the in-app preflight for your actual configuration; plan limits also apply.
Does a schedule publish directly to my social account?
Schedules automate supported generation workflows. Exported media, thumbnails and suggested publishing text help you prepare a post; a generation schedule is not a promise of automatic posting to a social network.
Can I clone my voice?
Yes, subject to plan limits and review. Narreel requires consent evidence and administrative review before creating or approving cloned voices.
What happens if I run out of credits?
You can buy extra credits or enable optional Auto Top-Up. If neither is available, Narreel blocks expensive jobs before paid generation calls are made.
Can I cancel anytime?
Subscription management is handled through Stripe billing controls. If a plan is canceled or payment fails, paid features and scheduled jobs can be limited according to account status.
