Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect account information such as email address, display name, workspace name, authentication provider identifiers, plan, roles, billing status, and security audit records.

We collect content you submit or create in Narreel, including scripts, prompts, uploaded assets, product images, logos, voice samples, consent recordings, generated videos, thumbnails, captions, metadata, and project settings.

We collect operational information such as credits, usage, provider cost estimates, job status, errors, device/browser signals, IP-related request information, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide Narreel, generate and edit media, process billing, enforce plan limits, support scheduling, protect accounts, detect abuse, improve reliability, and communicate about account or payment events.

We may use aggregated or de-identified operational data to understand cost, performance, provider quality, plan margins, and product reliability.

3. Payments and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Narreel does not need to store full card numbers. We store payment-related identifiers, subscription status, invoice/payment events, credit grants, and billing audit records.

Billing events may trigger emails or in-app messages for subscription changes, invoices, failed payments, Auto Top-Up, and extra credit purchases.

4. AI and infrastructure providers

To generate media, Narreel may send prompts, scripts, audio, images, video clips, style references, uploaded assets, or related metadata to AI and infrastructure providers.

We route content to providers only as needed to deliver requested features, improve reliability, enforce safety, or control cost. Provider-specific retention and processing may be governed by their policies.

5. Authentication and cookies

Where optional Google Analytics is enabled, we ask before loading it. If you allow it, analytics cookies help measure public-page visits, plan selections, accepted email registrations, checkout openings and published demo playback. Google receives browser/device and network information; this is not anonymous measurement. We do not send story text, email addresses, authentication tokens, account identifiers or payment details as analytics event fields.

Choose Decline analytics to use the site without this optional measurement. You can change your choice using Analytics settings. The preference lasts up to 180 days and is shared between narreel.com and app.narreel.com. Withdrawal stops new measurement and removes our Google Analytics cookies; it does not retroactively delete information already received by Google. Contact privacy@narreel.com for privacy requests.

Narreel uses secure cookies and authentication records to keep you signed in. If you use Google, Apple, or another provider, we receive information needed to verify your identity, such as verified email and provider account identifiers.

The application may use local storage for local UI state, project display state, preferences, and development convenience while backend records remain the source of truth for account, billing, and permissions.

6. Retention

Project files, generated media, editable assets, voice samples, consent recordings, logs, and billing records are retained according to product settings, plan retention rules, legal obligations, fraud prevention, and operational needs.

Some records, such as billing ledger entries, security audits, and provider event records, may be retained longer to support financial integrity, dispute handling, compliance, and abuse prevention.

7. Sharing

We share information with service providers that help operate Narreel, including payment processors, authentication providers, AI providers, storage providers, email providers, analytics or monitoring tools, and infrastructure services.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect Narreel, to enforce terms, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a business transfer.

8. Your choices

You may review account, billing, projects, voices, and generated content in the product. Some deletion, export, retention, and support workflows may depend on your plan, billing status, legal requirements, and operational retention rules.

You can cancel subscriptions through account billing controls when enabled. You can disable Auto Top-Up from account settings when the feature is available for your plan.

You may request help with account access, deletion, or privacy questions by contacting privacy@narreel.com. Some records may be retained when required for billing, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

9. Children

Narreel is not intended for children under 13 or for users who cannot legally consent to these terms in their jurisdiction. Do not submit personal information about children unless you have all required rights and permissions.
